This was a great place to stay in our RV. The space we had was a little tricky to get into thanks to some overhead branches, but we succeeded, in part because the people who rented the space across from our site weren’t there. We went on a walk and met some nice people at another camp site. It was definitely quiet at Granite and out of the way, but the turnoff from the main highway was well marked. Our space had our name on the campsite we rented, so that’s how we knew where it was. We saw an attendant’s campsite on the premises, but never saw the attendant him or herself.

Great campground for access to a 5 mile paved bike trail. The campground itself is tired and a little worn. The reservable sites are not accurate, and some sites have been closed for restoration, but are still on the Rec.gov site map as available.
