Tenderfoot Creek offers a beautiful camping experience with spacious, well-maintained sites and easy access to the lake, making it ideal for outdoor activities. Campers appreciate the friendly host, privacy between sites, and clean facilities, although some noted issues with trash and bathroom upkeep during certain visits. We camped at a site directly on the lake, maybe #6, in a small travel trailer. The entrance and camp ground road was gravel, vey good condition, and wide making our backing into the site easy. The site was wide, had a very nice big firepit and table as do all sites, easy access to the lake, with brush and trees between sites to offer privacy. Although there is a highway some distance from the site we had no road noise. We found the toilet to be clean and the grounds well maintained. We will camp here again and try fishing next time.

Beautiful location. The small campsite for our tent was not in great shape. Appeared that a skid steer had recently been used to landscape the tent site/parking space.

Nice space between campsites. Very clean, easy to read signage. Some sites are FCFS others are reservable. We were in 8 and there was a nice trail up the mountain from our site.
The only downside is the camping spot for our travel trailer (25’) was small. I wish the road blocks would have been closer to the picnic tables to allow more room. I noticed 9,10 and 12 were larger back in areas. Site 7 was a pull through site.
We will camp here again, summit lake is stocked and beautiful.

Tenderfoot is a beautiful campground by an amazing lake. The campsites are spacious and easily accessible. We met several campers who had not seen the camphost and wondered if there was one. We found a lot of pieces of trash no only in our site, but also as we wandered around the campground. Still, an amazing place with an amazing lake.

Three visits this year. This visit campground host not present until last morning. Overall still good upkeep; however, this year bathrooms not as up kept and some of the fireplaces need to be emptied. When host is present always pleasant..

okay campground. I thought being a site along the water would give us a view but it didn't because the bushes and vegetation was too thick. also, we got stuck next to the ONE guy that decides to drive his RV and run the generator pretty much the entire time up to the minute for quiet time and then start it on the dot in the morning. Wasn't a great experience. Mosquitos were THICK!!!

The host was friendly and helpful. The scenery is amazing and campground quiet. Having the pizza and ice cream shop a short walk away is always a fun bonus. The kids kayaked across the lake to meet us for ice cream one night. There is some highway noise but we barely notice it. We love Tenderfoot.

Great location for lake adventures! If you are a light sleeper, remember to pack your earplugs to help limit noise from the highway. We had site 6 and loved having the short trail access to the water!
