What Guests Are Saying
Tenderfoot Creek offers a beautiful camping experience with spacious, well-maintained sites and easy access to the lake, making it ideal for outdoor activities. Campers appreciate the friendly host, privacy between sites, and clean facilities, although some noted issues with trash and bathroom upkeep during certain visits. Overall, the scenic location and amenities, including nearby hiking and a pizza shop, contribute to a positive camping atmosphere, despite minor complaints about noise and site size.

This is one of my favorite places to camp! Large spots and beautiful scenery. The camp host was extremely helpful.

Nice campground. Not bad spacing between sites. Bugs were prevalent.

Had a great 4 days at Tenderfoot Creek with lots of sunshine and fish to catch. However, something needs to be done with the boat launch. The launch is very shallow and it makes it very hard to launch and recover boats. You basically have to drive your vehicle into the lake. Not conducive with a 31 foot motorhome.

It’s always great camping at Tenderfoot Creek when the weather is warm; and it was this time around. The only issue was, compared to previous years and previous visits, was that the bathrooms were not cleaned in what could be considered as acceptable. Trash bags were full and, in one, there was no toilet paper (even though there was room on the bar for 4-5 individual rolls).
The camp sites were clean, which was a reflection of the campers.

Nice hike just across the way at the south end of Upper Summit Lake. Small little parking lot but good hike.

Weather was pleasant. Site was clean. But the black flies were the worst I’ve seen.

The water was not potable, dirty and rusty-had to leave early.

Pretty campground with nice private sites. Road noise from across the lake was pretty loud
