Awesome cabin with a plenty of floor space. Well taken care of, for a cabin in the woods. We built a fire outside and enjoyed the creek next to the cabin

This is a very nice cabin and we were very fortunate someone left the wood house stocked! However, something is wrong with the wood burning stove and it would not heat the cabin. After 4hrs with the fire going we could still see our breath. We had to set alarms every hour to stock the stove to keep the fire going. Hopefully someone can go check out the stove soon and fix!

Beautiful cabin with plenty of room and close to Fox Creek. A little ways off the trail so very private. I would rent it again.

After leaving Devils Pass cabin the next stop on our journey was Fox Creek cabin. We knew it was going to be a long day because of the snow that was still on the tundra. The vast difference in terrain between Devils Pass and Fox Creek is amazing. You have the opportunity to witness some spectacular views. Fox Creek cabin is amazing! It is set off the trail quite a distance so it is very private. The view from the front porch is quite lovely and the access to the creek to get water is also very nice. The outhouses at all the cabins are such a luxury! I noticed that there was a horse trail behind the house, but did not explore due to being wiped out from our day. Note: East Creek cabin and Fox Creek cabin are quite a distance apart from one another so if you are trying to decide which cabin to take be aware that they are not within close proximity to one another.

This is a well built cabin with a great layout. However, the wood burning stove is suboptimal. There was zero air movement with the flue open (or closed). After a 10 mile ski we were tired and were looking forward to a warm cabin. However, we spent over 4 hours trying to get the wood stove warm. Ultimately the fire kept going out because of poor ventilation / maintenance of the wood stove. Very disappointing after a tiresome and cold ski in.
