The campsite was clean and well-kept. It was still not quite spring the first weekend of June, but beautiful nonetheless. There’s a fair amount of road noise, but the lake and views were a good trade-off.

Great campground with a beautiful lake. I like it as I can bring a boat in right beside the camp spot. Only negative is highway noise but it slows down late at night. Going back again next month.

Great little spot right off the hwy but tucked back enough to still feel private. A lot of water access points and fishing! We tried stopping at the lodge when they opened (said 9am, we arrived at 9:30am) but they weren't open, so that was a bummer!

Our second year visiting Tenderfoot campground. Sites are clean and fairly spacious, nice wooded sites and the lake is accessible from the campground. There is highway noise to be expected, as the lake is right across from the highway. We enjoyed taking our kayaks out on the lake and exploring one end to the other.

Really nice site and the lake was great! Good amount of bugs but you’ll survive. Loved this campground and will definitely return.

Nice, simple AK campground on the road system. There was a fair amount of highway noise that traveled across the lake.

There is no cell phone service here.

The campground host made several trips around the campground loop each day and was very friendly and informative. I felt that she cared for the campground and made sure campers were abiding by the rules by keeping their dogs on leash (this was the first time ever I have seen all dogs leashed up all the time) and garbage picked up and food put away. The restrooms were spotless no matter what time of day I used it.
If I ever become a campground host I’d like to be just like her!

Site 30 is great for a tent. Nice and big sites, easy access to bathrooms and close enough to the lake. It was fun for rent camping with 2 little kids.
There is road noise.
