East Creek Cabin is a remote, rustic cabin on the Kenai Peninsula of south-central Alaska. It gives visitors a primitive camping experience amid spectacular scenery. In addition to miles of trails available for exploration, the cabin provides access to opportunities for big game hunting and wildlife viewing.
The cabin can be accessed by hiking, horseback riding, skiing, biking or snowmobiles. The trail is open to snowmobiles every other year. Visitors are responsible for their own travel arrangements and safety, and must bring several of their own amenities.

The East Creek Cabin is a beautifully renovated space set in a fantastic location with easy access to the river, making it a great spot for outdoor activities. Guests appreciated the availability of firewood, enhancing their experience even in inclement weather. However, it's advised to keep the occupancy to a maximum of four for comfort, and to prepare for mosquitoes due to the cabin's ventilation.
Fantastic cabin in a beautiful setting. It was drizzling and sleety the whole visit BUT the USFS had provided plenty of dried wood chunks in the shed AND the previous cabin people had split wood and left kindling. Yay humans!
Beautiful space with a nice front yard and easy access to the river. The cabin was a little tight for five people. For comfort, I recommend a maximum of 4 people in the smaller cabins.
