What Guests Are Saying
Quartz Creek Campground is highly praised for its beautiful location, cleanliness, and well-maintained facilities. Many reviewers appreciate the spacious sites, friendly camp hosts, and access to Kenai Lake and nearby activities. However, there are concerns about the reservation system being too restrictive, making it difficult for locals to secure last-minute spots, as many reserved sites often remain empty.

As usual, our favorite campground…Quartz Creek, Alaska…was great. I would especially like to commend the camp manager, who was always available, kept the rest rooms clean, trash emptied, etc.

Peaceful and quiet. Enjoyed the bridge walk to see the creek. Would have liked some paper towels in the bathrooms ...perhaps. :)

This was an amazing campground that offers spacious, private sites that are easy to access with a variety of RVs. Also, offers easy access to a nearby lake and streams with sites on the shore. The campground is very well maintained and the camp hosts work very hard to ensure the restrooms and outhouses are very clean and well stocked, and, to ensure accurately posted reservations—all with a very friendly and caring attitude. This is one of our favorite federal campgrounds. Consider sites away from the lake—when the weather is nice and winds are low those sites are wonderful. If it gets chilly, wet, and windy you’ll wish you had a more sheltered campsite.
