What Guests Are Saying
Quartz Creek Campground is highly praised for its beautiful location, cleanliness, and well-maintained facilities. Many reviewers appreciate the spacious sites, friendly camp hosts, and access to Kenai Lake and nearby activities. However, there are concerns about the reservation system being too restrictive, making it difficult for locals to secure last-minute spots, as many reserved sites often remain empty.

Wildfires in the area and closures negatively impacted our stay

One of the most beautiful places on the planet. Fly fishing is spectacular. Just close enough to Seward and Soldatna for stocking up but far enough for nooooo congestion.
Cooper Landing is wonderful.

This was our first time renting an R/V (22' Motorhome). Just my husband and me who are in our early 60's. We were hesitant about dry camping, but it worked out fine. We were in site 14. It was nice and wooded. Thought we could walk to the water, but it was not accessible. Bathroom was close. We were disappointed we could not grill due to wildfires in the area. Lovely area.

I’ve been taking my family to Quartz Creek Campground for 30 years. It’s a beautiful setting. The campground is always clean. The hosts have always been wonderful. Great place to take a family. It’s quiet at night.
