This cabin was awesome. Lots of split wood present and we split some more. Canoeing Juneau Lake was fun and easy, 2 canoes in good condition at the cabin. If you paddle towards the north end of the lake you can travel some distance up a creek that flows out of Swan Lake. I miss the camp chairs that were present here last year. Outdoor seating would’ve been a plus.

Great facility, definitely take the winter route, not the overgrown and untracked summer trail.

What a lovely cabin and excellent view. Very clean and stocked with lots of wood from previous occupant. Sadly we couldn’t return the favor as the ax was very dull and us girls weren’t able to use it. Couldn’t understand why the outhouse was so far away; it took several minutes to get to it from the cabin. Also, sadly the canoe had a hole in it so we couldn’t use that.

The canoe at the lake was a nice treat and a nice way to end our day out on the lake. A few nice touches were the camp chairs on the porch to sit on .
