Very special location and one of a kind experience. Remoteness makes it what it is. Cabin and bath house were in very tidy nice condition. I noticed outhouse pit looked like it might be getting full up in not to distant future. Maybe maintenance to encourage composting May extend life.

It's always a joy to experience the cabin and hot tub during colder weather. Thankfully there was a good supply of firewood, the cabin is warm and dry, and the grounds clear of snow. Always 5 stars.

We ferried in about 150 yards on a dingy from our boat anchored in Mirror Harbor to the trailhead. Good shoes/boots are recommended for the hike in, which was a lovely 30 minutes through the bush on a clearly maintained trail that has several short wet/slippery spots. The cabin is spacious for 4 or more folks. A few dishes, pots, pans, cups, cutlery, and even a propane BBQ were found in the kitchen and deck area and a few types of dry goods were also present that campers had left behind. Some candles and matches, books and games were also found in the cabin. Overall a wonderful experience enjoying the views while soaking in the outdoor tub and bathhouse and accommodations at the cabin.

No firewood, had to gather driftwood, made a trip to Pelican to get two 10 gallon Rubbermaid totes of firewood.
It was rainy and chilly enough where a fire in the wood stove helped warm the cabin up.
The wood stove has a small burner chamber and the wood had to be cut again to fit.
The chimney needs to a good brush out from top to bottom.
The outhouse is getting full, pretty gross.

White Sulphur Springs is best enjoyed during the colder months in my opinion. Snuggling up in the cabin and freezing on your way to the warm tub, while enjoying the stars and silence of the forest, or the sea crashing on the beach. We visit a few times a year. This trip we found much garbage from previous visitors strewn about the grounds, in the bathhouse, and in the cabin. The woodstove needs repairs as well. And the wood storage is almost depleted. I suspect more visitors than usual have been visiting during the summer, and being less respectful. It won't stop us! Please pack out your beer cans folks!

This place is awesome. Don't attempt getting into West Arm or Mirror harbor without local knowledge. The bears are thick, bring an air horn and be bear aware.

The cabin is excellent. Nice size and very comfortable. The wood stove needs repair or replaced. The door latch is broken. The stove floor is sloped up toward the back of the stove. If you put any round wood in the stove the long ways which is how the wood is cut it will roll to the door. Not a good design not a good stove. It does heat the cabin once you get it hot. Bath house and hot spring sooo nice.

The cabin and hot spring is always an excellent weekend getaway from Pelican.
