What Guests Are Saying
Twin Peaks Campground offers a serene and clean environment with spacious, well-maintained sites and excellent facilities, including flush toilets and solar showers. Visitors appreciate the beautiful desert scenery, informative ranger-led programs, and the stunning night sky, especially during special events like star parties. While some amenities, like certain showers, may be temporarily closed, the overall experience is highly positive, making it a desirable destination for future visits.

We appreciated the cleanliness of the park & campground facilities- also the numerous different topics discussed at the afternoon & evening venues.

Ajo Canyon drive is great.
Would like to see paper towels in restrooms. Also a place to place a cosmetic bag while taking care of teeth, hair etc would be nice rather than on top of the garbage bin.
We heard the computers in the visitor center have been down for over a month. That being said a friend came who wanted to camp for a few days. Being technologically challenged he doesnβt have a cell phone or computer.
The staff in the office said they couldnβt help him! The campground has many available spots. They couldnβt help?? One rangerβs suggestion was to drive down to the BLM land about 5 miles back out of the park! Really!! That is poor poor poor customer service. Finally a woman stepped up and helped him. He was very appreciative of her and canβt sing his praises for her enough.
I hope you will look into this and see it isnβt a normal handling of the situation. I would hate to see negative comments on the reviews for this lovely park.

Love this campground. Took off 1 star for showers being either scalding hot when solar going strong or cold when no solar. Doesnβt seem to be any in between. Also the water provided at the dump station does not have a fitting that allows you to connect to the sani-flush for your black tank.

Nice campground. By far the largest I've ever stayed at, over 200 spaces, but it doesn't feel like it due to all the native vegetation left in place between sites, and it's spread out over a large area. Nice that there are only limited spaces for generators and their hours are very restricted. Very pleasant and helpful camp host. Only downside are the solar showers, even on a sunny day in the winter with temperatures in the 70's, it took until midafternoon for them to be bearable, but still not hot. Overall though a nice place to stay if you like campgrounds. I usually boondock but once in a while it's nice to have unlimited water and flush toilets.

Facility, including bathrooms, is excellent. Very good value. Stayed 5 nights and it was quiet, though busy.
