Beautiful scenery. The campground was lovely and quiet. Only complaint was the solar showers that were icy cold, which is normal, I'm sure, for February. We extended our stay by two days because it was so nice but found Rec.gov internet site very hard to use and not very user friendly.

Love the beauty of this campground. The. Hiking trails are well defined, some are very easy, others are more moderate. It is so peaceful and quiet here. The sites are not too close together, all with cement pads. The showers are solar heated, so timing is everything!

Truly a treasure of a location. Clean park, very interesting area of the Sonoran desert, great staff and engaging ranger talks. Will revisit!

2 years ago, we stayed at Twin Peaks c.g. in the middle of a row [we travel with 2 cats, whom we keep on long leads]. It was nice, but I wanted to try staying at the end of one of the rows. We secured a spot near the campground evening talks. Traffic and walk-bys were fewer, and we didn't have to keep as close an eye on the cats, as they avoided the main road into camp. The park was as beautiful as ever, and we enjoyed great weather.

Park was exceptionally well maintained - very clean. Despite having over 200 sites, most have reasonable space and vegetation between them. Having sites separated by tents, non-generator and generator sites is a good idea (but some generators are so loud, they can be heard quite a distance away).

Gorgeous place to camp in the winter. I don't think this would be true in the summer.

Very nice, clean and quiet. But don’t expect a warm solar shower in the mornings during winter months.
