Sites are small but there is good vegetation between sites that provides for some privacy. Solar showers are nice luxury when boondocking, although they didn't get very warm. We did see three people apprehended by CBP on two separate occasions but never felt unsafe.
Highly recommend the hour drive to Puerto Penasco. Whale watching trip for $50, we paid close to $200 for the same in Washington. Lots of good restaurants and inexpensive.

Shouldn’t be reservation only and should accept cash.

Campsite was very clean and well-maintained. Only complaint was the shower water had no heat. Too cold to actually take a shower. Other than that, it was a great experience.

One of the best arranged campgrounds anywhere. If you don’t need electric or water, this is a certified “Best Value”!

Campsite was perfect - not too busy, convenient to hikes and the visitor’s center, and surrounded by some incredible scenery/cacti!
