Only there for one night. CG was beautiful, clean, well maintained, nice hot showers. Terrain was too harsh for my dog so we didn’t do much. A great place to see magnificent cactus!

Nice rustic campground. Facilties are clean and well maintained. Make sure the site you choose has room for your tow vehicle. Be aware that your cell maybe using towers in Mexico.

Beautiful place , friendly Rangers. Very good potable water. Only $10 a night for seniors. Fantastic hiking trails. The shower water was ice cold. I would go back for sure. No shade, great for solar panels.

I typically camp free on BLM lands, however, with an SUV only and two dogs a nice table and safe place to leave my stuff is appreciated. This was one of the nicest campgrounds I’ve been to & the fact they have a dog friendly trail that goes to visitor center and back is fantastic!

Beautiful location. Sites landscaped with cactus that provides good separation. Pads paved and level. Water spigot nearby. Bathrooms clean and some with showers.
The “primative” camp, Alamo Canyon is 7 miles north with only four sites, but my favorite with expanse of mountains and cactus. Reservations required and even in off-season dates fill in rapidly. Love the hike up the canyon which is level and easy.
