The campsites all have concrete pads. The bathrooms are cleaned daily. The campground is very quiet.

Gem of a place in the desert! Campground was clean, quiet, and well maintained. Beautiful landscape with the variety of unique cactus. Great walking trails from the campground and had a concrete sidewalk around the perimeter which was perfect for my handicap dog. Rangers at the Visitor center were friendly and welcoming. The Town of Ajo has a green town park. We went on a weekend and found it busy with crafts and vendors. Had a wonderful time, definitely coming back!

One of our favorite parks in the nation, sadly not as well staffed as it used to be and the extensive border infrastructure has impacted the park to some degree, especially the access of the medium and larger species to resources on both sides of the border. Quitobaquito Springs had some new man made ditches that detracted from the pristine water source we remembered. The park staff do what they can but need more resources. In the past the staff were much more knowledgeable on the Pinacate World Biosphere just the other side of the border ( a UN recognized World Heritage Site) . Much larger than OrganPipe and with interesting geological features. I would encourage the rangers to co-operate with their Mexican counterparts from Pinacate and for American visitors to explore both locations.
