Beautiful national park. The campground is large, but clean & has adequate space between sites. Great activities with nightly programs and daily activities at the visitors center. This was a great home base for experiencing the park.

Very quiet and few campers in off-season. Lovely spot and nice, clean facilities. Excellent hike to the Arch and loop drive in the Sonoran Desert. Highly recommended!

Great tenting campsites. Although there were a few sites with shade canopies, I wasn’t aware of them when I made my reservation

Excellent campground layout, with spacious sites. Solar showers a plus, although not in every restroom building and water can be lukewarm in cloudy weather. But a welcome amenity that is unusual in national park campgrounds (except when provided at a central concessionaire facility).

I love Twin Peaks - Organ Pipe NM has got under my skin somehow (I'm a Brit). I was visiting slightly out of season this time, so it was very quiet in terms of campers, but (at that point) all the facilities were still open. The solar showers are beautiful provided you don't go too late (I paid attention to previous reviews!). Around about noon gave a lovely refreshing shower.
I did the Victoria Mine walk this time. Saw some great birds eg. Townsend's Warbler. I slightly under-planned how much water to take. I stop to take photos all the time so any walk takes me ages. Good learning there - I should have taken at least 3 litres. That was for 7am-11:30 walk.
And visiting 3 weeks later than in 2023, more cactus were blooming - fishhook - so delicate, and teddy bear cholla - utterly delightful!
I can't help thinking I'll be back again...

Despite looking like a parking lot from overhead, Twin Peaks campground is actually quite pleasant on the ground. Sites are separated by a decent amount of shrubbery and cacti, and just a few short steps away from the campground are a handful of trails for experiencing the desert landscape in peace. Unique to Twin Peaks (in my experience) is the separation of sites into a "generator" and "non-generator" categories, so campers can decide which they prefer. Water spigots are located throughout the grounds, and the dump station, located just past the far loop of the park, has two full lanes of dump, flush, and potable water fill spigots. We visited in April and the campground was sparsely populated, making for a relaxing stay.

Appreciated the non generator sites and easy pull through. Trails were very well marked and maintained.

A big favorite national park for my husband and me is Organ Pipe National Monument. We are interested in the history in the area and really love the Organ pipe and Saguaro cacti. This part of the Sonoran desert is like a desert garden. We also enjoy the birds and wildlife. One of the highlights is the ranger talks which are always fascinating even though we have attended them all many times, we always learn something new.
Hiking is another big feature at the park, and since we have a dog, we are very appreciative that several trails are dog friendly.
