Potato Patch is a great campsite. Convenient to Prescott Valley (quad city area). It's quiet, no wi-fi (love that), cell service is limited (love that). It has electric hook ups, which we really appreciate. We have been here numerous times, and will come back over and over again.
Thank you.

Beautiful Area. Access to many interesting towns.
Drive is steep up. Campsite were tight but accommodating.
I do have a strong complaint though, on the description of amenities on Rec.gov, it said, "water shared between sights". We have been to many campgrounds where a water spicket is place every few sites to share. Beings the drive was such a steep incline up we did not fill our tanks with water, thinking we would have access to some water when we got there.
NO! Not at this campground, it is one water spicket on the property and it has a permeant lock on it, so all you can get is a little at a time. When we asked if we would be able to get a few gallons of water to put in our tank the camp host expressed this was not acceptable.
We went to town, 45 mins away and bought some gallon jugs to use while there. I just wished this explained on the rec.gov site, we would have come better prepared.

This is a very peaceful and clean campground. The availability of electricity is a plus. Hiking trails are well marked and provide panoramic views. The towns of Jerome, Cottonwood and Prescott Valley are nearby for supplies or a quick meal at a restaurant. Overall, an excellent site to camp.

The campsite was very clean and nicely maintained. The restroom facilities were surprisingly clean as well. There is only a centralized water faucet outside the restroom. Also, I didn’t notice any firewood available for purchase onsite, so make sure to buy it before driving up to the campsite.
