Whistlestop Luxury RV Park is a well-maintained, beautiful resort in Dewey, Arizona, praised for its spacious, clean, and quiet environment. Guests appreciate the friendly management, particularly office manager Hope, and the convenient amenities such as clean restrooms, a clubhouse, and recreational options like pickleball courts and a swimming pool. We stayed at Whistlestop RV Resort in Dewey, Arizona from May 22nd to May 28th, right off Highway 69.

We were originally only supposed to stay for a few days and then head over to Lynx Lake, but after we got settled in, we decided to extend our stay. After the first stressful part of our RV shakedown trip, we really needed a clean, comfortable, easy place where we could troubleshoot a few RV issues, regroup, and just breathe a little.

Whistlestop turned out to be exactly what we needed.

The park felt newer, spacious, level, easy to get into, quiet, clean, friendly, open, and safe. Most importantly for me, it was not twisty, windy, dirty, dusty, or buggy — and yes, the bug situation matters. A lot. LOL.

The showers were lovely, the restrooms were spotless, and everything just felt easy. They also have a pool, which is nice for those who swim — not really my thing — but the washer and dryer? Oh yes, that definitely mattered to me 🤣

Having our RV parked there and our van with us made it a very convenient base. We were able to run errands, pick up supplies, get food, and explore the Prescott Valley/Dewey area a little without feeling stranded.

A special shout-out to Hope, the office manager, who was super friendly, kind, and helpful. Cheers to Hope! Woo hoo! 😊

They also have some lovely little tiny homes on the property, which I would honestly love to have, although the lot rent is a bit too costly for us — so for now, I think our mobile RV life will suffice 🤣

We’re heading out tomorrow morning, but I can definitely see us coming back here again. I really hope they continue to keep this place as new, clean, friendly, spotless, safe, and peaceful as they can.

And definitely not buggy. That part alone gets a big thumbs up from me 🤣🐾

Nice, clean park with wide, paved streets and very generous gravel back-in spaces, as well as some pull-thru sites available. Utilities are well spaced and in excellent condition.
Water supply is a sub-surface vault so it does require getting on your knees to connect.
The Clubhouse is large and clean and restrooms and showers are clean as well. Pickleball courts are available and although closed for the season the swimming pool looks nice, and should open up soon.
The two dog park areas have gravel surfaces.
There is some road noise
The park is in a good location with ready travel to Prescott and Prescott Valley.

Loved it there. Don't listen to all the bad reviews. They were from people that were there when they were building it. Beautiful place. Friendly staff. Very clean. New picklelball courts. Huge sites. The only thing I didn't like, was they charge a fee for payments. Even if you pay an automatic withdrawal out of you checking. First time in our 10 years of full timing, but we stayed a year. So don't listen to any of the bad reviews.

Hubby, 3 Pug Babies and myself are full time RVers in our Brinkley G 4000.
We have been enjoying our rv spot at Whistlestop for almost 3 years now. We appreciate the peace and quiet of this park, as well as the short term and long term guests we’ve met and befriended. We jokingly call our pugs the “Rv Park Paw Patrol,” as they tirelessly patrol the park from their perch at the top of our couch, their favorites being the dog walkers, maintenance crew and the garbage truck. The manager crew is diligent with our Mail/packages, and keeps the park running smoothly and communicates well with us.
They have recently put in a pickle ball court, and it looks nice, although we have not checked it out. However the pool and hot tub are clean and refreshing during the hot days, the clubhouse is always decorated nicely, clean and smells good!
