Been coming to these campsites for 8 years and love it. We usually rent out an entire loop so that we can be secluded! Here’s an update on the water levels! We were able to kayak, but the water is not near the parking lot like how it used to be! As for creatures… We see raccoons and we hear howling in the night sometime but that’s it !!

I went with family and stayed for 2 days and felt really good. Min cellphone signals so only thing is to spend time with self and family. Loved the spot. It was cleaned and swept by the time we reached at 4PM. Washrooms are clean. The foxes 🦊 sounds at the night was chilling experience

Had an amazing time this last weekend for my birthday on the 16th. Manny and Sheila were excellent hostess and gave information to us about bears, mountain lions, and Rattlesnakes. Also they were so kind to my daughter which awesome. Not only that they gave my daughter a necklace they make as souvenir to remember that place for her first camping trip

1st time here in this campground, really very nice and clean! Unfortunately, there has been no water since May 2024 because of some sort of invisible maintenance. But just bring your own water and everything that you need for camping 🏕 like on a dispersed site. Forest service very, very friendly! There are multiple short trails down to the lake that are easily accessible. We were there for 2 nights 🌙 ✨️, no problem what so ever with wildlife, mosquitos, or loud neighbors. It's a perfect quiet spot 👌 But you have to reserve your spot. Otherwise, you can't stay overnight. There is no gate house or host where you could check in, and most likely also no internet service!

We enjoyed our stay at the campground. The campsite in G loop was a very nice layout. The trails to the lake were close and easy to access. There are no hookups. We stayed at site 30. There was decent sun exposure for our solar system - we were able to collect 200-300 watts of solar power input from my (6) 100 watt panels. The only drawbacks were that site G30 is right next to a "camp host" sign. Since the host site isn't visible due to being down a long road, other campers assume site G30 is the host. I moved the sign a little to help other campers realize this difference, and the host moved the sign back to being by our site... So in 2 days we had 6 people come up to our trailer to ask for help. A few were rude towards us when I told them we weren't the hosts, and they argued that the sign said we were the host. The other thing is that I didn't like the constant mild noise from the main road in front of the campground throughout the day that echoed into the campsite. Overall, I'll be back next season but I'll book a different sight to avoid the interruptions from fellow campers.
