Site ok to back-in. Both of us have back knees so seven steps down to fire pit, a little hard. Site level so that was good.

We recently enjoyed a weekend retreat, and despite its proximity to town (a mere six minutes), the campsites were impeccably maintained. Although all sites were reserved, the atmosphere in the mountains remained remarkably serene.

We really enjoyed this campsite. The sites were very clean and raked when we arrived, they looked so nice. We were in F loop, and were about a 1/4 mile walk/hike to the lake. There are a few designated trails to get you to the lake. Sites are far enough apart from neighbors, so you don’t feel on top of one another. Bathrooms we clean (no lights so bring a flashlight for after dark) and there were a few fresh water spigots around for those needs. Very wonderful place and very well managed

Really enjoy the quiet, spacious sites. Restrooms clean. Close to town. It will be really nice when the main road gets finished and there will be lanes for bike riding. Wish the main road into Lynx Lake was better equipped for road biking.

We camped three nights in, loop A site 2, during the remnants of hurricane Priscilla on Arizona. Loop A is near the main road and we could hear the traffic. This was not an issue for us, just blocked it out. We received a lot of rain, mainly in the evenings and early mornings. There were no large water puddles in our campsite. The water was absorbed and/or flowed downward.
We booked the campsite only one day in advance. It was clean and was ready when we arrived. We did not use any of the amenities (bathrooms, showers, etc.) as we came prepared for dispersed camping. We saw the camp hosts several times cleaning campsites but had no interactions with them other than a wave. We do plan on returning to the campground in the future and highly recommend it.
