The campground was clean and beautiful. It was quiet and I felt safe. The only issue I had was the board as you come in said the cost was $18 a night, but when you register is adds on another $8 registration fee. And the biggest problem was, you had to go back outside of the park to register online because there's no service in the park. Then no one came by to put a reserved sign on the post so we had to worry someone was going to bother us at night knocking on our door asking if we paid. Too much hassle.

Lisa was an amazing camp host! She really cared about the guests and their comfort. Her and her partner made rounds and cleaned the bathrooms in the morning. There were two more camp hosts and I have nothing to say about them.
I've stayed at this particular site back in April. Site is roomy. It is spaced well between other sites.
Cons:
ANTS. I had to stay in my car on the 2nd night as ants took over my tent site. They completely covered the tent fly. I had absolutely nothing in my tent that would attract them. They got all over the outside of my privacy shelter but the inside was ok. They were at the borders of the site on the rocks. surprisingly enough they did not appear on or near the picnic table. I believe there are colonies under the area. The dirt is very hard and it was difficult to pound stakes into the ground.
The picnic table is pretty much across from the bathroom. It would be better towards the back end of this site as the smell was awful despite the hosts coming by to clean on a regular basis.
The site has very close access to hiking and biking trails. I enjoyed this campground and if I come back, I will choose another site due to the above issues.

I went with family and stayed for 2 days and felt really good. Min cellphone signals so only thing is to spend time with self and family. Loved the spot. It was cleaned and swept by the time we reached at 4PM. Washrooms are clean. The foxes 🦊 sounds at the night was chilling experience

The hosts were great, campground is super clean, well kept up! Tough water at lake was low, it was still beautiful, and great hikes.
