The camp host was fantastic. The setting was fantastic. Paying top dollar for no water, no electricity, and mostly no RV Dump is outrageous. I mean no dump what-so-ever meaning I had to travel to home and either find a place and pay to dump plus the time and distance or have a stinking black water tank until I am able to find a dump.

Campground is easy to get and was very clean. They sell wood there but very small bundles of small “logs”…for $8!. Next time we will buy some wood on the way in.

I liked it so much I stayed an extra night. The restrooms are immaculately clean. The campsites are level and paved. My site had a table, fire ring, and BBQ pit. The hosts were extraordinary.

Bonito Campground is named correctly. It is soooo pretty with beautiful trees. The sites are private and comfortable. A lot of real estate at each site. Everybody says it's 18 miles to Flagstaff but one can find all the amenities needed less than 10 minutes from the park. Just be prepared to basically boondock. We loved Bonito and will for sure stay again when in the area!

A very well-designed campground with lots of space in and between sites. Hard-working g hosts proved helpful and stayed busy keeping things neat. Beautiful modern bathrooms. Bonito sits next to the entrance to the Sunset Crater and Wupatki Monument highway, a lovely 35-mile scenic drive.
