This is a nice, clean, well kept place. Weather was great in early October when I visited. Sites are decently spaced, but there is line of sight between most of them.

Campground was very well taken care of and neighbors were awesome. Only complaint would be about one of the camp hosts, the rest of them were great but only one stood out, she came off rude most of the time she came around. Not sure if she was like that with other groups but she definitely came off rude with our group.

Campground was very well taken care of and neighbors were awesome. We've been camping at this campground for about 40 years! It's always clean and fresh! And, the hosts have always been outstanding as well!
Happy the fire missed it a while back and look forward to another stay next season!

Drive 12 miles northeast of Flagstaff on US 89. Turn east (right) on FR 545 (toward Sunset Crater) and drive 2 miles to Bonito Campground. Campground entrance is just before the entrance station of Sunset Crater National Monument
Bonito Campground is accessible via US 89, located approximately 12 miles southwest of the campground. The campground can be reached by turning east on Forest Road 545 from US 89.
