It was a perfect camp for us. Shady, cool, quiet, clean. We spent our time mainly in Flagstaff with family but took time to enjoy the Sunset Volcano’s visitor center and trails—-very informative!
The only wish for improvement is to have a secondary paved trail to the restrooms so you can reach them from front and back.

This is a very nice, well cared for campground. The hosts couldn't be nicer. The bathrooms (with flush toilets, by the way) are always spotless.
The campground is adjacent to Sunset Crater National Monument. If you haven't been there you really should go.
