Wind howling through the poor fitting back door. Very dusty…and the one futon is pretty beat. Reccomend bring fitted sheets to cover both of them. Bed is very good, didn’t do upstairs. We will go back as day hiking is endless around there.

Loved my time at this cabin. The dogs were so happy they refused to leave. I only stayed one night, but once I arrived I wanted to stay longer, unfortunately it was already booked. Great views of sunrise and sunset, totally secluded with very easy check-in, check-out.

From Interstate 17 or Interstate 40 in Flagstaff, follow signs to Highway 180 toward the Grand Canyon. From Flagstaff, drive approximately 20 miles north on Fort Valley Road/Highway 180 and look for the Watchable Wildlife Trail on the left and a roadside chapel on the right. Continue less than a mile past the chapel and turn right onto Forest Road 514. Go exactly one mile and turn left at sign for Kendrick Cabin. You will see a sign "Road Closed, Forest Service Administrative Site" as soon as you turn left. The cabin is a half-mile further at the end of this road.

No Walk-up rental allowed. Reservation only minimum of 1 day in advance of arrival. |

Water is supplied from mid-May to mid-October, however water may be shut down earlier based on local weather. Outside these times, guests must bring their own potable water. |

Cabins are in high demand with essentially no vacancy during the peak season; please keep the cabin neat and clean for the next renters and report any damage. |

Be Fire Aware! Fire restrictions may be in effect during spring and summer months. Please extinguish all campfires completely and limit the size. Re-think fires on windy days. |

Water is hauled from Flagstaff, so water conservation is critical. Please turn off water when not in use and limit time in showers. |
