Quiet campground with plenty of space between sites. Excellent for rv's with solar. Campsites and surrounding area are kept very clean.

This is a place for quiet! In early December only one other camper. Weather was pleasant. Petryoglyphs are small but interesting. Vault toilet.

Dedicated road leading to site entrance are clearly marked. Each much-larger-than-normal gravel site has a picnic table and fire pit. Must capture one of the most surreal panoramic evening sunset horizons. Petroglyphs are densely clustered in one particular section; can be overwhelming in one instant. Vaulted toilets are CLEAN. Cellular signal level ranges from limited to almost none. No shortage of ants/flies. No camp host or any Ranger in sight, so yes, you and 5 other neighbors are solely responsible for all UFO negotiations.

Spent two nights over Winter Solstice. Got up at dawn to watch sunrise hit the petroglyphs. Only ones there. Campground less than 1/3 full. Felt safe and vault toilets were clean. Many flies all over, I'm sure that varies with season. Road in was a paved 2-lane, only gravel in campground.
