The campground is great. We have stayed before. However, don't bother to make a reservation! The campground host does not pay any attention to the reservations. People camp where ever they want weather the site is by reservation only or not. The site we reserved was taken by someone without a reservation. We went to another site then had to move. Thank goodness the woman on the phone at Recreation.gov was so understanding! It was very frustrating and stressful. We would like to camp again this spring but don't think making a reservation would be any help. The campground host is useless!

An out of the way campground with beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Extremely quiet. The spaces are quite spacious and not too close together. Loved the peacefulness. There are trails and roads to venture on and explore while your here. I highly recommend if your looking for a little peace and quiet.

Quiet. Large, open sites. Very helpful host.

No one was at the campground. High fuel prices certainly were part of the problem, however no good spaces were available unless you made a reservation and committed to a prepaid period of time. This campground has in the past had many 1-5 night campers and due to only small and poor sites being available few campers stayed for more than a night or two with some driving in and leaving the same day.
