I’m a 23 year old student at NAU and found this place by just looking around and we really lucked out. Wonderful fire pit with moveable grill top and firewood there for you. They even left a little bundle of sticks for us to get the fire going. Everything there you need definitely coming back.

Great location and proximity to the park! Be warned that there are no flushing toilets at this campsite but is manageable. Beautiful campsite and an amazing view of the stars at night.

Lots of trees for hammocks.
It gets chilly at night, even in September.
Great spot for visiting Grand Canyon.

Great location, pretty close to the canyon. Each spot was really tidy and had plenty of space. Toilets and water were available everywhere. This specific spot is super close to toilet, water and garbage bins.

Great spot! Very peaceful and relaxing. Spent some time hiking around GCNP and this was a nice respite from the crowds. Neighbors were friendly and respectful. Bathrooms and water spigots all worked as expected and were nearby.

This was my husband and I's first stop in our 11 day road trip. We were conveniently next to the bathrooms, water, and wood pile. We could not have picked a better spot! The free wood was heaven sent because we had flown in with all of our camping stuff and had no wood. The fire ring and grill were awesome. We would love to visit again.

General
- COMMERCIAL TOUR GROUPS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT TEN-X CAMPGROUND Commercial operators MUST obtain a special use permit to operate on National Forest System lands, including Ten-X Campground. Due to high public demand, Kaibab National Forest will not be issuing any special use permits for Ten-X Camground until further notice. Therefore, no commercial tour groups are allowed at Ten-X Campground. All violators will be removed from the campground immediately and given a fine for violating the Code of Federal Regulations.
- Single campsites accommodate a maximum of 8 people and 1 vehicle. Double campsites accommodate a maximum of 14 people and 2 vehicles. Groups that arrive with more people than allowed will be asked to move and will be charged for an additional site. Additional vehicles may be accommodated depending on the site. Each additional vehicle is subject to a $5/night fee
- No utility hookups
- Generators are allowed at Ten-X Campground. Generators can only be operated from 6am to 9pm.
- Limit of 15 vehicles per group site
- Due to limited water supply, RVs are not allowed to fill up at the campground
- No dumping of waste or grey water inside the campground; there is a dump station and water fill inside Grand Canyon National Park
- No shower or laundry facilities; these services are available inside Grand Canyon National Park
- Pull-through sites can accommodate up to a 35-ft. RV
- No use of off-highway vehicles inside this facility
