This is a 6 acre fenced and reserved campground. The area is transition with both pine and juniper. The area is mostly flat with minimal rocks, perfect for multiple tent sites. The ramada and picnic tables create a covered area for meals. We had 10 groups set up with tents and trailers and did not feel crowded.

We had a great time there. Wish we knew more about the camp grounds itself. If we know there was horse pit, we could lhad brought our horseshoes and played. Volleyball, room for other activities. Great idea for the Coconino Rangers stopping by to make sure we were OK and everything was needing anything. That was a plus for all of us. You usually don't see anyone. We will be probably consider our Fraternal Order of Eagles State Comp Out for next year. Thank you.

We took 40 people to Elks Group Campground. Cub Scouts and their families. We really liked the site and will definitely be bringing our scout there again! The campsites are well spread out and there a ton of picnic tables all over camp. There are 2 ramadas, one with 3 long picnic tables end to end. There was plenty of tree shade, which is always nice in AZ. The bathrooms were clean and there are 2, back to back rooms in one building. The are is gated and has a fence all around. It was nice to know that a kids could not wonder out of our area and specially that no strangers can get in. We had a younger siblings with us. There is nothing/no one close to the site. We had families bring their own water for drinking, washing, cleaning, but it was nice to know that there was the 500 gallons there should we need it. There short dirt road to get into camp was well maintained and easy for low clearance vehicles. Cell phone reception was fairly good in camp. Pack 276 Gives this group campground a big thumbs up! Please remember the 7 principles Leave No Trace when you visit the outdoors. https://lnt.org/ Always Trash your Trash! There is a dumpster there for your use.
