The campsite was clean and everything was in good shape. The bathrooms were clean and always well stocked. The camp site is great with it’s proximity to the East Verde River and views. The host crazy Harry was great and helped with local knowledge and makes sure we had a good time.

Nicest campground site I have been to. The area has been raked. Big spacious sites. Quiet. Couple of problems: there was little to no shade and the restrooms never had toilet paper. I replenished with my own supply twice. It was a full campground. Perfect location for Blue Ridge reservoir, 2 miles away, and Tonto Natural Bridge State Park. I would definitely go back.

The campground and sites were clean. The bathroom was always clean and stocked- the volunteers frequently stopped by to check on the facilities.
We had a great time at this campground and we will come back- try a site on the outer loop. Our only grudge was our camp neighbors ran their generator all day, so that was a nuisance. The campground is a short drive to the reservoir, where you can launch non-motorized watercraft.

Well kept campsites, clean bathrooms, generally quiet, and great place to camp to access the reservoir.

I heard about this spot on social media and they talked about road conditions …we have a RAV4 and tent camp so was concerned. I found that info to be false the roads were easy to travel. Campsites were the cleanest and most level we have seen. We were in site 26 and it was wonderful set back from the road, beautiful open in the back and on the left side. We were there a Sunday-Friday and almost had the campground to ourselves. The vault bathrooms were clean and air fresheners made them pleasant. We walked a part of the Arizona Trail which was a pleasant hike. We didn’t go on the reservoir but would consider it the next time we go. Water table is way low so would need to carry or pull kayak and we are elderly so will consider. It looked so peaceful and I would love to experience this river like reservoir. I highly recommend this camp site and if full there is lots of nice dispersed camping near by. Beautiful and peaceful.

We had a great time at this campground. The 2 camp hosts were amazing and very knowledgeable of the area. The bathrooms were cleaned every morning like clockwork. I would definitely stay here again. And for those of you wondering about cell service, I had 1 bar of LTE (Verizon) and pretty much most of the campground and could barely send a text or make a call, which was perfect for me since I needed to get away from the electronics.

Great campsite. The bathrooms and campsites were clean. The camp hosts were both friendly and helpful. The campsites are spread out so you don’t feel on top of your neighbor. We would stay here again.

This is my go to campground in the summer and it never disappoints. We stayed at campsite #32 and the views were amazing the bathrooms were clean and it got quiet after 930pm.

Arrived and campsite was spotless and well groomed. 19A is close to the bathroom yet still a quiet spot. There is a wonderful view of the canyon. There was room for a normal size tent in the rock area and a very small tent in the dirt. We enjoyed taking our kayaks out on the reservoir but be prepared for a very slow bumping 2 mile road to the boat landing. The dump toilets were well taken care of and clean. Charcoal grill and fire pit available on site.
