Rock Crossing Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and beautiful views, making it a popular choice for families and groups. Campers appreciate the friendly hosts and easy access to outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking at the nearby Blue Ridge Reservoir. This was a great experience as always. There is so much to do if you want to explore or just hang in camp and stare at the beautiful view. We took out bikes, kayaks and fishing equipment and enjoyed them all. Had several nice hikes as well! What made this location exceptional were the camp ground hosts. Art, John and T made all the difference in how clean the camp was. We were at another lake in the spring and left early because the bathrooms were so smelly we couldn't stand it. The late noise parties were also a turn off. But none of that here at Rock Crossing! Bathrooms were spotless and sites were beautifully maintained. We are returning in August!! Thank you!

We have stated this campsite three times. I have used the cleanliness of this campground to invite many of my friends. I truly didn't think it could get any cleaner than what Tee, Art and John showed us when we got there. Everyone in our group couldn't say enough high praises for their incredible effort. Thank you so much for a wonderful time and we look forward to coming back at the end of August with many more friends!!!

I have never been to a campground where the bathrooms were this clean! The camp hosts were so nice. The grounds were gorgeous. Blue Ridge lake water is full! From the campsite you can head to the reservoir and it only takes 10 minutes by car. Bring kayaks & paddle boards. There are only a few parking spots near the boat ramp. There is no beach for swimming and hanging out with kids. Only boating on water.
