Well kept campsites, clean bathrooms, generally quiet, and great place to camp to access the reservoir.

Rock Crossing Campground is praised for its cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and beautiful views, making it a popular choice for families and groups. Campers appreciate the friendly hosts and easy access to outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking at the nearby Blue Ridge Reservoir. While the remote location means limited cell service and potential for wildlife encounters, many guests plan to return for the peaceful setting and enjoyable amenities.

The campground and sites were clean. The bathroom was always clean and stocked- the volunteers frequently stopped by to check on the facilities.
We had a great time at this campground and we will come back- try a site on the outer loop. Our only grudge was our camp neighbors ran their generator all day, so that was a nuisance. The campground is a short drive to the reservoir, where you can launch non-motorized watercraft.

Nicest campground site I have been to. The area has been raked. Big spacious sites. Quiet. Couple of problems: there was little to no shade and the restrooms never had toilet paper. I replenished with my own supply twice. It was a full campground. Perfect location for Blue Ridge reservoir, 2 mi away, and Tonto Natural Bridge State Park. I would definitely go back.

The campsite was clean and everything was in good shape. The bathrooms were clean and always well stocked. The camp site is great with it’s proximity to the East Verde River and views. The host crazy Harry was great and helped with local knowledge and makes sure we had a good time.
