We liked the spacing of the sites. We would camp there again.
The camp host was very helpful. It would be helpful if you gave us some sort of marker to find the location. It was hard to find. Thank you for the opportunity.

So I’m sure true RV’ers might find some issues with Crossroads because of no electric or water, but for the price, the view, the Hosts, the toilet you seriously can’t go wrong even if tent camping.
I personally had no idea what to expect when I booked for two weeks coming from Michigan. I was very worried as I noticed instantly I reserved what was clearly one of six spots for larger RV’s. I was in my car snd had a two man tent. I found a small flat area just over the guard chain of the parking lot and setup camp.
The crowd was exactly what you’d expect in a site like this. Escapees, older folks waiting on their “real” spot to open for a few days, hipsters, and some very heavy drinkers. That would be my one snd only complaint was the drunk two sites down who was also in a tent but a tent he clearly lived full time in. Listening to his cans crack all night, him pee and Mins like a sailor at 3am every night kinda sucked but $5.
Wild life is more then prevalent. I had two nights where the wild Burris decided to use my tent as scratching post in middle of the night. Pretty jarring but friendly creatures nonetheless. Owls, coyotes, and creepy crawls of every kid to keep all ages busy with the river just down the way.
Shoot for site 19 if a tent camper or small small RV. Right on water and would have a lot of boat noise but I feel the best site of them all.

Our time here was great. Several of the sites are large enough for very big rigs. We watched Quail, Road Runners, and at times burros in the park. Do be careful pulling off the highway to the entrance. If there is a vehicle coming out you may have to wait as the area is to narrow for two vehicles to comfortably pass.

Great break from the crowded 'resorts' that line the Parker Strip. Pretty quiet in January. You can dump and get water one mile north at Sundance Resort for $15.

I was originally supposed to stay here two days and will end up staying the 14 day max! Had to change campsites a couple of times (all Waterfront sites). Love, love, love this place in early February. The river isn’t congested with boaters, wild burros come through for visits and incredible sunsets. The camp hosts are wonderful and extremely helpful. You won’t find a better place for $5/night!

We stayed there during the week so the campground was quiet. No OHVs allowed in the campground. Campsites away from the river are nothing special. We think boat traffic on weekends would make it a noisy place. Wild burros came through the campground to drink at the river. We especially enjoyed hiking into the hills across the road.

This is one of my favorite campgrounds, especially BLM. Just 25 sites, not fancy...trash & vault toilet but right on the Colorado River. Camp host was on furlough but very nice.
I was in space #5 which was across from the river, with view, reasonably flat and ideal for those needing to catch solar.
Wild burros wander through all hours of the day and night.
