Excellent campground except that it is close to the road and had tractor trailer road traffic noise all day and night. RV hookups are modern, bathrooms are standard state facilities. Sites are paved, relatively flat and spacious. Near by Buckskin is much further off the road and has more trail access.
When I stayed I did see one issue that was very disappointing. Their dump station sat empty except for 11am-1pm during checkout and checkin and yet it was “closed to public” with a $15 fee public fee posted. This is a State Public campground and should support state tourism and public health. With thousands boondocking on near by BLM it’s very disappointing that they are making thing more difficult than necessary.

Very pretty spot. We had amazing weather - 80's in mid-January and were able to kayak, swim and enjoy the views. We have a 31 foot camper trailer - the few RV sites were big enough and we were glad to have reservations for the waterfront-ish spots. The tent sites are small, somewhat crowded but the trailers were well spaced between. The camp hosts were on site and the whole area was clean and monitored, despite notices that the hosts were furloughed. No hookups, but we didn't mind at all.

While we appreciated very much an inexpensive place to stay as everything else along the Colorado River was privatized campgrounds, we were disappointed that only three sites are reserved for first come, first served. Otherwise, one can reserve a spot for $10.50 with the Senior Pass whereas first come first served sites are just $2.50 with the pass.
This is a beautiful campground right along the river, but no one is cleaning the outhouse. To avoid this, I went up the road towards the dam and used the day use toilets which were nice and clean.

Park was nice and clean. It was quiet and easy to get into. Your website is not easy to navigate. It doesn't seem to be a user-friendly.

A great place to boondock/dry camp. We had a beautiful view of the river and the wild burros came through the campground. The host was wonderful; helpful and accommodating. We wanted to change sites part way through our stay to one that had a cement pad. He made it happen for us. The campground was very clean and well cared for. We'd definitely go back. We did use our cell phone booster as we had little to no coverage on T-mobile. The booster gave us a good enough signal to stream Hulu.

The campground Hosts were more than helpful. Thank you for moving us when our site was too small for our trailer.
