The Virgin River Canyon Recreation Area offers a beautiful and peaceful camping experience with spacious sites, stunning views, and access to numerous hiking trails. Many visitors appreciate the clean restrooms and well-maintained grounds, making it a great stop for travelers along I-15. Great stop and found plenty of first come sites that were acceptable for our 31’ trailer. Bathrooms very clean, outer loop much quieter than one closer to highway. Nice hill e down to the Virgin River.

The campground was very easy to access from I-15 and entrance was clear and manageable even for our long RV. Once we figured out the site signage we could quickly select a vacant site and payment of fee was easy with the app and QR code. Such a beautiful site and hand to have bathrooms available as well. Definitely looking forward to another return.

We had a good experience. We stayed for 2 nights on a Sunday and Monday and slept in a tent. The campsite 92 has a great setting with wonderful views of the river gorge. Also a short hike down to the river and trails from the site. There are a couple of good flat areas in the campsite if your going to pitch a tent. Use upgraded tent stakes that hold to anchor your tent. It does get breezy in the gorge with some big wind gusts on and off throughout the day. The bathrooms were clean and acceptable. There is some traffic noise from the highway but also the sound of the river running. Overall the campground was quiet and peaceful. I will definitely be returning.

Beautiful. Quiet. Clean. There is plenty of room for parking our 30ft RV. Bathrooms are clean with drinkable water and cooled with AC units when it's hot outside. Our site had the built shade cover and fire ring for a campfire or if you decide to cook it has nice fire crate attached to it. Trails nearby down to the Virgin River so the kids can swim and play.

Highway traffic can be heard into the night. Good short hikes available.

As usual the same problems with Scan and Pay, spot selection not accurate resulting in "vandalism" against scan and pay receipt. BLM St George
and recreation.gov is placing the camper in harms way. Do not implement a procedure not is not been enforced. None of my emails regarding the
Scan and Pay problems have been answered. You are basically pleading "No Contest" because of self incrimination.
It is truly regrettable that the only known "procedure" is the "gun to the head" tactic !!!!!!!!

Beautiful area! Thankful for paved roads and sites when it rained. Long pull-outs for our 40' Class A and tow (except the ones with medians are tight). Not far from St. George and Snow Canyon State Park (40 minutes). Very reasonable price, but no services except garbage and bathrooms.

Excellent campground with nice views. Some highway noise, but not enough to bother our sleep. Bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner. Good cell service. Would definitely come back.
