What Guests Are Saying
Rose Canyon Campground in the scenic "Red Rocks" of Southern Utah is a well-maintained and beautiful location, ideal for camping near Bryce Canyon NP. Campers praise the cleanliness, friendly staff, and great fishing opportunities, with many highlighting the spacious, private sites and enjoyable hiking trails. While some minor issues like road conditions and a few camp host interactions were noted, the overall experience is positive, making it a recommended spot for both relaxation and outdoor activities.

The staff was very friendly. Our cell phones didn’t work in the area. Every hour they kept comming by to give us updates on the thunder storms all weekend. We got a lot of rain but it was so much fun

We were unaware of the 'hike' to our site from our parking space. We are older and carrying all our equipment was a struggle, especially when we had to pack it UPHILL to our vehicle. The price of firewood was REDICULOUS! We've never had to buy firewood in all our many years of camping.
Potty was great, water was great, site was shady, rain held off until we were all packed up to go home.

Very nice campground with wide spaces, clean restrooms and hiking trail around the lake up to the dam with pretty views of the lake and bird watching opportunities.

At arrival there was no one in the booth to issue parking passes. The man (Shane) came through on his golf cart screaming at us (a group of 10 cars that had a reservation) that ours cars were going to be towed and we were going to face federal charges. He was extremely rude, unfriendly and at time belligerent. It was unnecessary when all he had to do was work with us. We didn't do anything wrong - there was no one in the booth at 8 am to issue the parking passes. What a jerk

Nice clean campsite with bench and bear box, quiet weekend stay, but our dog encountered a skunk, just some lingering smell. Lake was busy but pleasant. Would stay here again

Beautiful spot! Clean pit toilets. Camp host Shane was excellent in quieting some late night partiers.

My grandson and I were scheduled at campsite 32, but we chose to move to 34. It was more secluded, nearer the outhouse, and the tent site was flat. I loved having the large bear box right by the table. All our food and coolers fit inside. The site was clean, the parking within 10 feet or so of the table. My only disappointment with the site was that the tent site was in direct sun most of the day, especially in the hottest part of the day and it got up into the 90s on Wednesday. The tent was pretty hot in the early evening.

Loved that the camp host staff constantly drove through the camping areas. Felt a bit more safe. Sites were clean and lake was beautiful!
