What Guests Are Saying
Rose Canyon Campground in the scenic "Red Rocks" of Southern Utah is a well-maintained and beautiful location, ideal for camping near Bryce Canyon NP. Campers praise the cleanliness, friendly staff, and great fishing opportunities, with many highlighting the spacious, private sites and enjoyable hiking trails. While some minor issues like road conditions and a few camp host interactions were noted, the overall experience is positive, making it a recommended spot for both relaxation and outdoor activities.

Our campsite was littered with small plastic and metal debris: plastic straw wrappers that come with small juice cartons, bottle caps, fishing wires and hooks, etc. I did not enjoy the campsite, nor felt relaxed. When we returned from offsite activities, all I did was walk around the sites and pick up rubbish. Perhaps this site or other sites are too popular and other users just do not care.

A great location with friendly staff. The sites are very clean with fire pits, BBQ's & metal food storage bins. Lots of trees and great for star viewing at night. Rose Canyon Lake is a nice reservoir. Great location for hiking as well.

We were attempting to tent camp with our RV camping friends. Problem: Tent and RV areas are not together. Camp host came to our rescue and found us a spot where we could both camp together. Had a great time!

Been to Rose Canyon Campground many times, as I live in Tucson and it's only about a 45 min drive to the sites. Clean campground, good facilities, great camp hosts.

Great!! I went with a fairly large group and we had a wonderful time eating camp food and going to the little lake. A great place for crawdad fishing. We watched the sunrise from a peak and had a perfect weekend!

Theres a lot of privacy because sites are pretty far apart which is nice. The only problem with that is now you have to carry gear and coolers to the site, but is so worth it for the privacy in my opinion.

Beautiful campground. Spacious and fairly secluded campsite surrounded by pines.
We stayed in Site #2, which is a bit of a scramble up a short rocky hill. It took a bit longer to load and unload because of the hill, but was more secluded.
We were there during the week and it was very quite, but Friday night was full and loud - it quieted down by 9pm, but wasn't a peaceful evening like the other nights.
There were deer in and around the campsite. And there are several good hikes near by on Mt Lemmon.
