Absolutely great cabin! While we were there the creek was running and we got to hear the Elegant Trogon, as well as a whipper-will, plus seeing a sundry of other birds (including wild turkeys right outside the cabin every morning).

Need to knows: Bring queen sized bed sheets, bed pillows and your own bath towels. We brought these items, as well as extra paper towels & TP...paid it forward by leaving them behind. Also, the kitchen towels that are left there are pretty nasty, so I'd bring some or plan to use a lot of paper towels...otherwise, the kitchen was pretty stocked.

Lastly, we found our sticky notes came in handy to leave some notes for the next guest (e.g, when the hummingbird food was made, when ice cubes were made, etc)

Unique cabin in the woods. Well equipped with cooking equipment, electricity, water etc. Visitors need to read the fine print about what isn't provided - e.g., toilet paper, towels, linens. We had no problem with the road with our Kia Niro - just take the last bit slow. Loved the hummingbird feeders near the porch and the sound of the creek cascading past. If we had stayed more than one night, we would have explored the trails nearby.

I went to Kent Springs cabin with my son and his daughter, also with 2 teen grandchildren. We were in shock and amazed about the stream behind the cabin! It was so beautiful! You could hear a water fall sound even in the cabin. My grandchildren and son was out exploring and we followed the rock path behind the cabin. There was so many things that made us curious about the history of this cabin. Which was big and amazing. I loved the family picnic style dinning table. We loved everything about the place. Grandchildren found games to play. I found some history write up about the families that lived there and the chimney stack we found. So much history!! Great place for the kids. We are coming back in a few weeks. Now our favorite spot. Very fun interesting cabin! Thank you!
