A beautiful cabin in a spectacular desert oasis setting. The hikes out from the cabin were a beautiful as any others in the canyon. The hummingbirds were at the feeder constantly. It was amazing to watch them. The cabin and surroundings are a great place to relax and unwind. It is set far enough off the beaten path to be very quiet and serene. Enjoy your time there

We absolutely loved this cabin. It's spacious, private, and in the most beautiful area. There are some critters in the cabin (spiders, mice, etc) but I think that's just part of being out closer to nature.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin, hiking, playing and exploring the stream. We brought up quite a few mugs to help replenish the supply.

Much appreciation for the group ahead of us who left a spotless cabin, kitchen and bathroom. Thanks!

Only complaint was lack of coffee cups which are generally overstocked in a USNF cabin. Seemed like there were only three....

As we were there on a weekend, the Bog Springs, Kent Springs Sylvester Springs hike departing from the cabin was perfect. Take advantage of not going out to the road for at least a bit, but you can't miss the Santa Rita Lodge bird watching area mid day!

Snow! It was beautiful. We want to thank previous guests for leaving place so clean. Also, the road had been graded so it was in better shape than last time we were up. If you're going up, bring some drinking glasses; the ones there are mason jars. There were only 3 coffee cups, so bring some of those up too. Feeling generous? Donate some sturdy steak knives. Check the propane tanks; they were empty again. Don't forget drinking water and dish soap. It is truly a lovely place for all of us to share. Also, there is a little mouse, so clorox wipes are also a good call. Thanks to everyone who takes care of this special cabin.
