What Guests Are Saying
The North Rim Campground is highly praised for its spacious and well-maintained sites, beautiful natural surroundings, and proximity to the Grand Canyon views. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the availability of a general store with essential supplies. Although there were some issues with water access and restroom cleanliness during a recent fire evacuation, the overall experience remains positive, with many expressing a desire to return in the future.

The site was perfect for us. We were situated away from the RVs in our tent with easy access to the trail leading to the lodge. The North Tim is a wonderful place to unwind. We hope to return in the future

The people in the campground office were very nice, and super helpful. What a fantastic area! This was hands down the peak of my 5 week trek.

Campground was nice with clean bathrooms. Direct access to the Transept Trail. Our biggest problem was the Yellowjackets. They were swarming the water spigot and were all over our food. If it weren’t for that, it would have been perfect!

Beautiful, quiet, comfortable (mostly) and a great stay.
Clearly, the Grand Canyon is beautiful and every hike and drive we took, we were surrounded by the beauty; the campground was quiet and restful; (mostly) comfortable due to the water main break and no showers, but we took showers in Mesa Verde a couple of days later; Overall, a great stay, and the clan asked for one more day, but alas, other capers had our spot...

Campground clean, host friendly and informative. Trails to rim easy to navigate. We had a large family group between our 4 sites. Everyone had a great time.

What a terrific experience at the North Rim Campground. The staff, the grounds, the effort made by everyone to prepare and repair what was broken over the winter. Pretty amazing and a big thank you! Everyone that received the email warning the camp, the roads, the trails and the concessions that may have limited access because of the winter snowfall - really appreciate the hard work from everyone working so hard to prepare for the 2023 opening - Thank you so much, you made our trips a life memory we won’t forget!! Wonderful! Breathtaking! And beautiful!

The beautiful views on the drive up to Angel’s Window and to Point Imperial were incredible. Staff at the campground were very nice. Much to explore in the area.
