What Guests Are Saying
The North Rim Campground is highly praised for its spacious and well-maintained sites, beautiful natural surroundings, and proximity to the Grand Canyon views. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the availability of a general store with essential supplies. Although there were some issues with water access and restroom cleanliness during a recent fire evacuation, the overall experience remains positive, with many expressing a desire to return in the future.

I am completing a 25 day whirlwind tour of the national parks out West in a 30 foot RV with my son and family. We have stayed in quite a few RV parks and campgrounds. Even without hookups, the campground at the North Rim was my favorite. I loved the size of our site, the wooded setting, and, above all, how peaceful and quiet it was. It was great being able to walk a short distance to the back of the campground and be on the rim of the canyon where I watched lovely sunrises and sunsets. There were several other trails out of the campground which took us to other views of the canyon. We never had to move the RV to experience so much beauty! In addition, the campground hosts and check-in ranger were extremely kind and helpful. Absolutely no complaints about our stay! Thanks!

Easy hike down to the Lodge for great amenities. Clean facilities. Super friendly and helpful staff. Good store for the stuff we either ran out of or forgot.

There’s nothing like waking up in your tent, and then just casually walk towards the rim and watch the sunrise.

I had spot 30. Nice spot. Close to drinking water, restrooms (which were clean and stocked), no neighbors to the backside. Lousy cell service throughout the campground and park. Lost my Wordle streak :-( The North Rim, in my humble opinion, is far superior to the South Rim. Make sure to stop by the hotel nearby for views and a pint o’ lager!

Beautiful campground. We had a partial view of canyon from our site. Potable water nearby. Showers were nice. Hot water for $1.50 for 6 minutes. But only late afternoon. I had a few cold showers when I waited to long at night. General store was very rustic and well stocked. We travel with our dog so some trails along rim are signed “no dogs”. No worries. The bridal trail was excellent for walking the 1.5 miles to lodge. Sophie was welcome at the lodge as long as she didn’t go into buildings. We spent a week and enjoyed the cooler weather during hot summer Arizona temperatures. Thunderstorms frequently but enjoyed them too.
