Beautiful campground with clean facilities. Site 38 is next to bathrooms but not in place where people are walking through your camp. Only real downside is your are farthest from the Grand Canyon but that didn’t bother us at all

Site #15 was great with a nice view and an amazing sunset from camp! Right next to the Transept Trail which made for a fun and easy to walk up to the lodge from camp--love sitting in the chairs outside the lodge overlooking the canyon. The campground is also a short walk to the North Kaibab trail. Camp host was very nice and helpful. Very clean campground. Nice hot showers.

Great campground. Path right off campground leads to an amazing sunset view. Quiet. Bathrooms in good condition. Host was awesome and super helpful. General store within walking distance open from 7a-9p was super helpful.

We stayed here the day before our Rim to Rim. It is beautiful!! This sight is right next to the rim. You can see it from the campsite. There is only one tree next to the tent pad so it can get pretty hot during the day. No overhead shade cover. It was a mile and a half walk each way to the North Rim Lodge, you can take the road or the Transept Trail. It's about a 1.4 mi walk to the North Kaibab Trailhead from this campsite.

Beautiful, large, wooded sites, plenty of shade, quiet. Bathrooms, and even showers by the well stocked general store (pay, not a Ritz Carlton shower but it got me clean). Staff was friendly, and you could walk to the ranger talk at night (bring a headlamp for the trip back). Would definitely recommend, but I did reserve 6 months in advance and still had to switch sites for a 2 night stay.

The North Rim of the Grand Canyon is spectacular. One of our favorite spots in this beautiful country. If you haven't visited, you should add it to your bucket list. The RV spots are "dry camping" and most sites are shaded by the beautiful ponderosa pines so bring some portable solar to keep those batteries charged.

North Rim Campground is 210 mi (210 mi), approximately a 4.5 hour drive, from Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim.
This facility is located at the end of State Highway 67, about 41 mi (41 mi) south of Jacob Lake, AZ, 87 mi (87 mi) south of Kanab, UT, and 120 mi (119.9 mi) southwest of Page, AZ. Highway 67 is the only road into and out of the North Rim. There is no access by road directly across the canyon to the other canyon rim.
From State Highway 89A, take Highway 67 south for 30 mi (29.8 mi) to the Grand Canyon North Rim Entrance Station. The North Rim Campground is located about 11.5 mi (11.5 mi) further.
Highway access
North Rim Campground is accessible via State Highway 67, which is the only road into and out of the North Rim. The nearest major road is State Highway 89A, located approximately 30 miles to the north.
