What Guests Are Saying
The North Rim Campground is highly praised for its spacious and well-maintained sites, beautiful natural surroundings, and proximity to the Grand Canyon views. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the availability of a general store with essential supplies. Although there were some issues with water access and restroom cleanliness during a recent fire evacuation, the overall experience remains positive, with many expressing a desire to return in the future.

The North Rim Campground is in a remote setting that is both beautiful and quiet. If you like to be free from the crowds this is where you want to go. The Host at the North Rim campground was great. The mule ride down into the canyon was also great. The views of the canyon from behind the and lodge and from Angels Window are spectacular. I did a 10-mile hike on the Widforss Trail and never saw another person on the trail. This was my second trip to the North Rim. The first time I spent 2 days there, but this time I stayed 3 days. I thought 3 days was the perfect amount of time to be able to see what I wanted without feeling rushed.

Very nice campground with nice amenities and plenty of shade.
Every night there were an average of 7 vacant campsites, due to no show reservations.

The tent only loop is quiet and low impact. Everyone respects the low key usage. Yes, you need to carry your tent and gear 50 feet but who cares? Beautiful spaces.

This was my favorite Campground of all of the campgrounds in the Grand Canyon National park. It was beautiful, very quiet, peaceful not crowded at all just enough amenities, large trees for lots of shade and a constant Breeze coming from the canyon.

The campsite is a great location, close to the store, bathrooms, water and the canyon. Great walk along the rim trail to the visitor center and back. Surprisingly quiet campground, cool weather during record heat wave, and beautiful starry nights.

We loved the casual rustic feel of the campground in the Pine forest, the birds, the short walk to amazing views, great hikes, and the week-long star party!
