Beautiful shaded campground, surprisingly quiet given the number of campers present. Showers were clean with hot water.

The campsite was very nice. Large sites spaced out so it didn't seem crowded even though it was full every night. The general store was very handy with a good selection of stuff. The laundry was nice and inexpensive. The showers needed some attention though. There were more stalls out of order than working. The ones that worked were kind of sad.

The walk-in tent site was nice. It was right near the rim which was great. You were a little close to your neighbors...not terrible but the non tent walk in sites were more spreadout. It got very windy in the evenings...sounded like the wind was coming from the canyon. It wasn't as windy in the inner portion of the campground. There was shade at our site but much more tree cover in the regular camp spots away from the rim. The bathrooms were completely closed down in the tent-only area. There was a vault toilet available or you could walk farther to the other bathrooms in the campground. Bathrooms were cleaned once a day but they are old and small. The general store is walkable from the campground.
Recommend walking the North Kaibab Trail even if just out and back. We walked to the Redwall Bridge. It is 3.5 miles from the trailhead. We did this in June with record heat. Start before the sun comes up and plan to be out of the canyon by 11am. It is rough going back up...especially when the sun eventually makes it way into the canyon. Carry plenty of water. If you are up to it, it is an amazing hike!

This was a great campground! So peaceful to see the Grand Canyon from the North. The showers were not reliable, but they did refund us when two of our four showers only trickled out water. I would recommend the North Rim over the South all the time.

Beyond disappointed. This was my 6th trip to the North Rim Campground. Booked 4 nights but left after only 1. Bathroom near my campsite, out of order. Water spigot near my campsite, out of order. Showers working but cold water only, so basically out of order as well. If fact, I had to tell staff what time the shower rooms closed as they seemed to have no idea. This was my favorite campground anywhere; now doubtful I will ever go back....

Great place for camping and hiking. Beautiful location, cell service limited , I have Verizon , it works but only in certain locations. I would give it 5 stars ⭐️ if it wasn’t for the bathroom that is out of commission for 3 years now .

Great campsite. It was very large, and could easily fit 5-6 tents. The bathrooms were clean, and the local store was very convenient.

We were in tent site 02, and it was perfect, not crowded at all, never saw a camp host, the restrooms were clean and everybody was nice .
The weather was perfect, we were there the later part of June.

North Rim Campground is 210 miles (338 km), approximately a 4.5 hour drive, from Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim.
This facility is located at the end of State Highway 67, about 41 miles (66 km) south of Jacob Lake, AZ, 87 miles (140 km) south of Kanab, UT, and 120 miles (193 km) southwest of Page, AZ. Highway 67 is the only road into and out of the North Rim. There is no access by road directly across the canyon to the other canyon rim.
From State Highway 89A, take Highway 67 south for 30 miles (48 km) to the Grand Canyon North Rim Entrance Station. The North Rim Campground is located about 11.5 miles (18.5 km) further.
North Rim Campground is accessible via State Highway 67, which is the only road into and out of the North Rim. The nearest major road is State Highway 89A, located approximately 30 miles to the north.
