What Guests Are Saying
The North Rim Campground is highly praised for its spacious and well-maintained sites, beautiful natural surroundings, and proximity to the Grand Canyon views. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the availability of a general store with essential supplies. Although there were some issues with water access and restroom cleanliness during a recent fire evacuation, the overall experience remains positive, with many expressing a desire to return in the future.

Most of the sites are very shaded, so don't expect much solar charging. Loved the park and lodge and I want to come back again. So peaceful.

Wonderful location so close to the rim edge. Good paths like Transept Trail on your doorstep. Clean toilets. Plenty of space between sites. Wildlife in the trees around you is amazing, variety of birds and deer.

Toilets were nice and clean. The campsite was orderly. Food and showers were available nearby.

Stayed in T-06. Beautiful and large campground site. Easily able to set up a six person tent on the tent pad. Best fire ring I have ever worked with. Easy to keep and maintain a fire going even with the high wind conditions. Bit of a walk from the tent site to get to potable water and the nearest bathroom to this site is currently just a pit toilet. If you stay in the main campground ring you will be nearer to a bathroom with running water and a flush toilet

Staff are the best. Genuine smiles, good information, wanting to help. Campsite was clean and ready for us. Bathrooms also clean and ready for use. The views are amazing on the trails and the air was so nice. Will be back.

Lots of trees. Lots of options at the store. Quiet. Nice trail to the visitor center and the canyon.

I think the group sites should be marked as a while at the entrance to those sites. It was hard to find not knowing they would just be marked individually. A group tent area sign of some sort on the campground road at the entrance to those areas would make finding them much easier.

Campground was nice and clean. Showers and laundry were a nice bonus although the coin machine took our $$ but didn’t give us the coins! As directed by the sign, we enquired at the campground store but found the man there unhelpful. I hope our unexpected donation supports the national park service!

Pretty sites, some with great views, but they were too close together. Water and flush toilets were far away, among RV sites. That made it seem like tent campers were looked down upon. No parking next to flush toilets, which is where the dishwashing stations were. So dishes had to be carted by hand.
