What Guests Are Saying
The North Rim Campground is highly praised for its spacious and well-maintained sites, beautiful natural surroundings, and proximity to the Grand Canyon views. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the availability of a general store with essential supplies. Although there were some issues with water access and restroom cleanliness during a recent fire evacuation, the overall experience remains positive, with many expressing a desire to return in the future.

The views are absolutely spectacular. Nice and quiet. Unfortunately, the showers are FREEZING cold, and so, incredibly unpleasant.

The campground was clean, spacious, quiet, with nice balance of shade and sunshine. The bathrooms were clean and maintained well. The potable water was nearby for each campsite. The Transept Trail that led to the Lodge was beautiful, a great view of the canyon and just steps away from the campground. So relaxing!

Quiet, peaceful, safe, clean, close to shuttle and plenty of shade. The general store, showers and gas station are all conveniently located at the entrance to the campground.

Beautiful campground! Super quiet while we were there. Loved the forest environment, distance from other campers & proximity to the lodge and canyon. Want to go back!

Nice quiet campground. Plenty of trees but they're high so they don't provide privacy. Not a problem, everyone keeps to themselves and it was quiet. I only bought ice and water and they were pricey but I guess that's to be expected way out there. Takes time to get adjusted to altitude so I only hiked the transept trail, which I enjoyed very much. I had an excellent cocktail at the tavern at the lodge. The mule ride was fun. I didn't use the shuttle but people definitely did and it's great they offer it.
