What Guests Are Saying
The North Rim Campground is highly praised for its spacious and well-maintained sites, beautiful natural surroundings, and proximity to the Grand Canyon views. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the availability of a general store with essential supplies. Although there were some issues with water access and restroom cleanliness during a recent fire evacuation, the overall experience remains positive, with many expressing a desire to return in the future.

Gorgeous campground with clean bathrooms and close proximity to amazing trails, bike or hike! Site 70 was extra spacious. General store is right in the campground.

Beautiful sites. Unfortunately, very understaffed. No host. Water systems in poor condition. No showers or laundry. Many bathrooms closed. Lodge and staff there perfect.

Drove up to the campsite. Bathrooms and water point was very far away.

North Rim Campground was the cleanest and most beautiful campground I’ve ever stayed at. The general store had everything you could need and was reasonably priced. Staff was extremely helpful, our entire experience was great!

The campground is just lovely!!! It's very clean and quiet. The bathrooms were super nice, too.
There are a few things to know: if you're tent camping, while this is considered a "premium" site, it is sloped with no tent pad. If you're car camping, the driveway is also on an incline. The site is adjacent to the Transcept Trail which means there are hikers to and fro most of the day until sunset. If you have a dog that barks at people, this might not be the site for you. Also, pick up firewood ahead of your stay. The camp store was out late afternoon on Friday (4th of July) and still hadn't received their expected delivery when we left on Sunday.
I adored my stay here but think these might be important for other campers to know. I will definitely be camping here again!

Everything was great, the only complaint I have is that the showers were not working due to water restrictions. It would have been nice to be notified prior to our camping trip.

Beautiful place to camp. Undermanned and can have abrupt water shortages, so come prepared! Consider it dry camping, and your expectations will be set correctly.

We stayed in Site 17 which was a last minute booking. It had shady areas in morning and evening for cooking. RV was always in sun which was hot during the day. Site was close to restrooms and trash. And, trail. Bathrooms was very clean! Rules for generator times was not enforced. Over four days saw one person driving thru park checking on things. Wonderful stay.
