What Guests Are Saying
The North Rim Campground is highly praised for its spacious and well-maintained sites, beautiful natural surroundings, and proximity to the Grand Canyon views. Campers appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the availability of a general store with essential supplies. Although there were some issues with water access and restroom cleanliness during a recent fire evacuation, the overall experience remains positive, with many expressing a desire to return in the future.

So close to the Canyon walls and the campsite provided plenty of space between sites.

Even though the amenities are limited, the experience was amazing. The sites are beautiful with a short trail to the overlook. They have set up portable toilets and the general store is open 9-4. The views from the North Rim outshine the South Rim.

I was expecting a crowd at the north rim campground but it was nearly vacant! The fire from last year wasted the famous lodge and many past services were non existent: no water or gas but the lack of people was fantastic! We did day trips to Cap Royal and Point Imperial: incomparable views and lack of crowds.

Campground was nice. Don’t leave any food items out because the ravens will rip open trash bags, items of food and what not to geta free meal. Also make sure you take toilet paper because porta potties by our camp site was completely gone and the camp host doesn’t do their job. Never once did they stop and check to even make sure we paid for our camp spot.

Right now the campground has no water, no flush toilets. Day hikes on the rim are fabulous!
