Clean, well maintained, rustic campground. Level parking pads! And friendly, helpful camp host!
Stinky outhouse, but that’s not the hosts fault, as they were clean and fully stocked.

Sinkhole Campground only gets 4 stars instead of 5 because it’s small and sites are super close together. The roads are shaped like a barbell. 11 or 12 sites on one side of the campground and same on the other. To the right are first come first serve sites. To the left are the reservable sites on the .gov website. Each side has bathrooms.
The number of chipmunks are incredible and they will eat anything that’s open on your table and in your trash. Cute for entertainment.
Host was lovely. Bathrooms were as clean as could be with that many people. Close to road 260, but got quieter late at night.
Best thing was the closeness to Willow Springs lake. It’s about a mile, and it is walkable. Has a small parking lot. Stocked with trout, but hard to catch from the shore, you really need to be in a boat.
No rentals at the lake, but has a nice boat launch. Pit toilets and picnic benches available.
Good for an overnight or two day trip.
