Site spaces are so small & cramped we moved after the first night of staying there. That one night we stayed the people behind our spot #26 partied till around 2 am & the people in #25 snored till 6 am. We ended up sleeping in the car to be able to sleep.

It's Covid, I get it. We were scheduled for #16. When we arrive the host's wife tells us we can't be there so she's moving us to a better spot, #6. It is nice, although you hear road traffic throughout entire park. We get the trailer unhitched and the Host arrives who informs us in less than pleasant manner we can't stay there. He moves us to #11 which is next to a bathroom and smells bad. We contemplate leaving and just driving up to Lakeside and he informs us he will not refund our money. He drives away and we decide to try it for a night. He later comes back and reexplains the situation in a nicer manner. Not exactly what we expect from a "Host." Besides traffic noise, just a generally loud campground. Very close to Willow Spring Lake. It is very clean.

Such a fun campsite being walking distance to the lake yet far enough away you don't get the noise of the day visitors!

First time trying Sinkhole campground. Excellent location to Willow Springs Lake. Although close to the main road, we did not hear traffic. Very quiet campground. Vault toilets were very well maintained. Camp hosts friendly. We will be back! Hesitated to leave a 5 star review, as we'd love for this little campground to remain 'off the grid' in terms of heavy usage! Our only 'wish' would be electric hookup. We stayed during covid timeframe - the option of visiting Canyon Point campground to pay for shower usage was not available. We noticed 'seasoned' campers brought dolly to haul water storage containers to the camp host area, where you could obtain drinking water. This is a great little campground!
